Pseudo-Secularism

Hindu dharma is implicitly at odds with monotheistic intolerance. What is happening in India is a new historical awakening... Indian intellectuals, who want to be secure in their liberal beliefs, may not understand what is going on. But every other Indian knows precisely what is happening: deep down he knows that a larger response is emerging even if at times this response appears in his eyes to be threatening.

Indian Media Ownership Facts

Ever wondered why the Indian Media is biased on Hindus and often mislead the public on trivial issues?

Who owns the media in India ?

There are several major publishing groups in India, the most prominent among them being the Times of India Group, the Indian Express Group, the Hindustan Times Group, The Hindu group, the Anandabazar Patrika Group, the Eenadu Group, the Malayalam Manorama Group, the Mathrubhumi group, the Sahara group, the Bhaskar group, and the Dainik Jagran group. Let us see the ownership of these media agencies.

NDTV: A very popular TV news media is funded by the Gospels of Charity in Spain which supports Communism. Recently it has developed a soft corner towards Pakistan because the Ex-President Musharraf had allowed only this channel to be aired in Pakistan. Indian Division CEO Prannoy Roy is the co-brother of Prakash Karat, General Secretary of Communist Party of India. His wife and Brinda Karat are sisters.

India Today which used to be the only national weekly who supported BJP is now bought by NDTV and since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing. No prizes for guessing why.

CNN-IBN: This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in US. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion of its channel. Its Indian heads are Rajdeep Sardesai and his wife Sagarika Ghosh.

Times group list: Times Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust , Femina, Vijaya Times, Vijaya Karnataka, Times now (24- hour news channel) and many more. Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. ‘World Christian Council‘ does 80 percent of the Funding, and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent. The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi.

Star TV: It is run by an Australian, who is supported by St. Peters Pontificial Church, Melbourne.

Hindustan Times: Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collobration with Times Group (refer above).

The Hindu: English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne, Switzerland. N.Ram’s wife is a Swiss national.

Indian Express: Divided into two groups:The Indian Express and The New Indian Express (southern edition): ACTS Christian Ministries have major stake in the Indian Express and later is still with the Indian counterpart.

Eeenadu: Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji Rao. Ramoji Rao is connected with film industry and owns a huge studio in Andhra Pradesh .

Andhra Jyothi: The Muslim Party of Hyderabad known as MIM along with a Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu daily very recently.

The Statesman: It is controlled by the Communist Party of India.

Kairali TV: It is controlled by the Communist Party of India (Marxist)

Mathrubhoomi: Leaders of Muslim League and Communist Leaders have major investment.

Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle: Is owned by a Saudi Arabian Company with its chief Editor M.J. Akbar.

I too have come back to my hindu ancestory along with 90 persons, and many more are also comming further. Many muslims and xtians mostly young are realising thier roots of Hinduism or say Hindutva and are coming back to thier old home in India.Look there are thousand webs exposing evil and hatemongering Islam & Christianity.Churches are being sold in european countries. Many intelligent muslims are kicking out and exposing thier relegion Islam openly.Anwar shiekh,Amil Amin,Sultana WAfa,Ibrahim Lone,Ali Sinha,Derwesh etc etc.Now lot of written literatur against Islam and xtianity is being sold openly in an encouraged way.
Getting confused and afraid of free speech and analysis of thier religion Islam, all muslim countries of UNO have put a resolution that Defamation or criticism of Islam byinternet, or publications or by speech should be declared as punishable and illegel. Did U see,how much the muslim world is terrified and trembling in thier gowns inspite of killing innoscent pples everywhere with the inspiration and instructions of Islam and Koran.Waite dear Ashwani the hard shell of islam has started cracking&breaking from within. We have to be alert and first tackle these P-sec rascals mentioned above.--------------------Johnsudhaker

India Today which used to be the only national weekly which supported BJP is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.
[India Today is an Indian weekly newsmagazine published by Living Media India Limited; in publication since 1975 based in Mumbai India Today is also the name of its sister-publication in Hindi. Aroon Purie is its editor-in-chief from 1975, a position he has held continuously for the last three decades. He also holds majority ownership. NDTV only bought India Today Group’s radio venture ‘Radio Today Broadcasting’, through a joint venture with Hyderabad-based Value Labs and Malaysia’s Astro. Ownership of the rest of the group still is with Living Media India Limited.]

[There is a limit to lying by this author .He either does not know how old is the Times group or he is too brazen a liar. I am giving a brief history below.
1838: The first edition appears on November 3, 1838, known as The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce. The newspaper is published twice a week under Editor J.E. Brennan
1890: Editor Henry Curwen buys The Times of India in partnership with Charles Kane.
1892: Following the death of Henry Curwen, T. J. Bennett becomes the editor and enters into a partnership with F.M. Coleman to form a joint stock company - Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL).
1946: For the first time, the paper transfers to Indian ownership. Ram Kishan Dalmia buys out Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd for Rs. 2 crores. Partly, the takeover is funded by illegal money transfers from other companies, and Ram Kishan was imprisoned after the matter was raised in parliament by Feroze Gandhi in 1955.
1948: Sahu Jain Group becomes the owners of the company after Dalmia sells the firm to recover 2.5 crores he needs to pay back to an insurance company. Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain, son-in-law of Ram Kishan Dalmia, becomes the first chairman of the group.
Since then Jains have owned and ran the paper. They are Marwaris and always support the government in power.]

The Hindu: English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne, Switzerland. N. Ram's wife is a Swiss national.
[The Hindu is an English-language Indian daily newspaper. With a circulation of 1.45 million The Hindu is the second-largest circulated daily English newspaper in India after Times of India, The first issue of The Hindu was published on September 20, 1878. Worldpress.org lists The Hindu as a left-leaning independent newspaper. N. Ram was appointed on June 27, 2003 as its editor-in-chief. The Hindu is family-run. It was headed by G. Kasturi from 1965 to 1991, N. Ravi from 1991 to 2003, and by his brother, N. Ram, since June 27, 2003. Other family members, including Nirmala Lakshman, Malini Parthasarathy, Nalini Krishnan, N Murali, K Balaji, K Venugopal and Ramesh Rangarajan are directors of The Hindu and its parent company, Kasturi and Sons. Ram's first wife Susan was an English woman who came to south India as a research student. Like Ram, she was (and remains) an atheist with a Left perspective on politics. After their marriage, Susan worked as a teacher, a freelance journalist, an editor for Oxford University press publications in India and a television presenter. Their daughter Vidya Ram, a budding journalist, was a Journalism topper at Columbia University in New York where her father too studied in the 1960s. After the divorce from Susan, Ram married a Keralite woman, Mariam.

There is no Joshua society anywhere in Switzerland.]

Cultural invasion especially by Christian missionaries is dangerous as a slow poison. In TN, some Christian groups use separatism (a left over by Dravidian parties which they used to strengthen their party in 60s) and started misguiding Tamil people. The spurt in conversion activities in the last 5 years is a dangerous trend.

Most of the media keep silent about this and indirectly support them by blaming Hindu organizations every now and then, in the name of their brand of secularism.

I am not sure whether they are true but as all these keep coming on Indian dailies and they are not hidden, it is a brutal facts of most of the media in India.

That's why when Bal Thakare had to grow, he had his own SAMANA. BJP RSS Congress and others have their own media channels. Jayalalita has her own, Karunanidhi has his own, Baba Ramdev has his own channels and so on.

Unfortunate part of all these channels I mentioned above, there is no channel which caters for India?

Are there anyone who bothers for India? Do we have Indian channels in real sense?

That is the pain of India, it is unfortunate but I hope in the days to come, ownership will change.

There is something called the Annual Report that every company in India (and worldwide) has to publish. It lists all its owners, promoters and major stock holders. Verify yourself, or fall into the trap.
